So I got a 2015 Titan SV Crew Cab for only a couple thousand more than I had gotten my 2006 Titan Crew Cab nine years ago.  They are having some good sales on the last of the body style in anticipation of the 2016.
Just got the bed LineX'd today and the guy threw in LineX for my idiot spear (Smittybilt Beavertail Step).  I put the reflective on it, more for people's knees....

Nadia missed my old truck, so she loves it, too...

I backed up into a cyclone fence and hooked it with the ball. I got quite a bit of that fence before I knew it was back there

The driveout tag has got to be confusing tailgaters...   Crown owns both and ran out of Nissan tags....  I guess their sales are pretty good!

The beavertail is an off road recovery attachment point and a step to get to stuff on the roof of an expedition SUV...

Seems out of place.

I have a hitch in the side locker for that very reason.  I know I would destroy my own shins if I left the hitch in.

Being short, it actually allows me to step up with something in my hands.  In addition to fending off rear-enders and bruised shins.

I often miss the VK56DE engine in our Armada that we no longer own, and that awesome guttural growl she'd give when floored.

I am tempted to get an UpRev tuner for it.  I have heard lots of good about them.  Throttle response, power and the same or better mileage.

Maybe Christmas time.

Our Armada never gave us any problems, but it was hands down the most grin provoking "sports car like" SUV I've ever owned, and I've been through quite a few.

My current Infiniti is turning out to the most durable, dependable, fun to drive sedan I've ever owned, and again, I'm been few quite a few of those, too.

Way way back we had an '83 Datsun/Nissan Maxima - I don't know if anyone is aware of the very first Maxima that had a long wheel base for its day, an inline 6, and RWD - it was pretty much the most badass sports sedan of its day. I can recall that way back then that car was ahead of its time, and an absolute pleasure to drive.  It pretty much ran circles around most everything else on the road at that time, short of dedicated sports cars.

It is.  Same as my 2006.  I am not a fan of the huge, gaping mass of the current truck crop.
So bigs, so burlys, so expensives.

If they are so good, why so many?

A good truck should last the entire time.

I just sold my 1988 toyota truck with nearly 300,000 miles on it.

ran like a Swiss watch the day I sold it.

Hell yeah, the most underrated truck on the market.

My 08 Titan has 163K miles and she still drives like new. About to head to OK to meet family and about to put 2K more miles on her.

For the haters here is what Nissan introduced to full sized trucks at the time it came out over 10 years ago.

1. Factory sprayed in bedliner.
2. Dampened tailgate (GM tried to claim that recently in their 2014 truck but it's a lie)
3. Bed rail system for tie downs. (they beauty of the Nissan system is that it can use unit strut accessories, so you can build anything and attach it to the bed rails)
4. On extended cabs the rear door swings all the way back parallel to the bed. (I wish my 2014 F150 company truck did that, would make loading something into the rear much easier with a car next to you)
5. 5 speed automatic transmission (which is still the best transmission ever put into a truck, it just knows what gear it needs to be in. My 2010 and 2014 Ford F150 transmissions hunt gears all the damn time and are slow shifting)
6. Storage compartment behind the drivers side rear tire. (excellent place for tie downs and tow straps)

The test drive won me over more than anything else. It just has a different character to it than other full size trucks and it's still fun to drive today.
