Scale is a little off.

Don't those things have a wingspan larger than a B-52?

Looks like a stupid photoshop out of grandpas crusty emails. BTW: Did you see the video of the loop an F-35 did out of VTOL!  It was awesome!

Old pic and photochopped; S-3's parked infront of the island and they've been decommissioned for a few years now, and so has the USS Constellation.

Constellation (CV-64) was retired in 2003.

That's a really bad 'shop.

Besides, seven B-2s would exceed the value of a whole carrier battle group.

FAKE! All carrier based aircraft "Must" have wing fold, or other space saving capability. Yes the U-2 did a few carrier trials, but nothing ever became of it. They just wanted to test the pheasability of launching the U-2 from a carrier. To make mission planning easier.

It's too bad Hazegray hasn't been updated in nearly 10 years.  It was a great naval site.

They did land/launch a C-130.

The stealth coating of the B2's skin needs special care after flight, it needs environmentally controlled hangars. There are few bases it can operate out of.  I don't think a carrier could service it.

A B-52 wingspan is 185 feet.

I fail to see how a B-2 has a bigger wingspan.

I was talking about the scale. Hence the part in red.
