Went to Lendingtree.com. What a waste of time. I got exactly zero responses and I have good credit and lots of cash from the sale of a couple of parcels of real estate.

Who else or where else.

Cheapest I've fond is Chase Manhattan at 7.1% 30 year fixed no points.

Nat'l avg is around 8% again that is [b]averaged[/b]

Try [url]www.bankrate.com[/url] too. I'm still looking - was offered a 7.15 something loan from LendingTree but that was with 3 plus points - NO THANKS. I have perfect credit and a 20 year employment record with my Uncle Sam.

30-year conventional loans are running about 6.75% to 7.125%, depending on whether or not you want to pay points.
