Nice!  Does that (very nice) Bronco have an AM radio?  I was thinking about putting those lights in my hangar, but I've heard that they make a lot of RF noise, and I like listening to the local air band traffic.   If you get the chance and have the means, could you please report on the noise level on an AM radio?

Thanks!

edit... not great reviews and no experience with them, just wanted to toss out what I saw in my local store the other day.

Costco had a screaming deal on 2pks earlier in the year. Not a member but only 10% more than member cost online.
REALLY lit up my shop. And garage. And basement. And hayloft. And....

Nice lights!  I'm torn between these or cheap 4' T12 fixtures, removing the ballasts and using LED retrofit tubes.  Can get more lumens that way for the same price.

I'm confused.  Are you changing out the fixtures for something different, or getting LED bulbs that fit the fluorescent fixtures.  Those LED bulbs are $6-15 all over the internet...are yours just really good?

OP

If you have any with the old a19 (I think that's what they call them) porcelain base take a look at some corn cob LED bulbs.  The price is coming down and they throw off a ton of light.

Here is one that uses 30w and is the equivalent of 100-150 metal hallide bulb.

Going to paint the garage next week and install a total of 2-3 bulbs

They are pricier ~65.00 but the fixture is 2.00

I have some of those old, huge tube lights in my garage.  I really need to replace them with LEDs.  Maybe a project for next summer.

I was at Costco last night and they still had some for $20. Grabbed a couple more. But it looked like the last pallet, and they are bringing in new (useless) motion-detection versions back at the full price of $40.

Those $20 Costco 4' LED lights are great!
I hung one over my reloading bench in my garage and it puts out plenty of light!

I put two of those HW/SC LED shop lights in my garage:  Night and day difference.  I also have one over my gunsmithing/reloading table, big difference over the flor that used to be there.
