My dad gave me his old camera, I'm just playing with some settings, trying to learn this thing, and thought Id take some pics of my new Glock and other guns.

I cant believe I bought one. I dont like Glocks, theyre ugly and dont have any "gun personality" if you know what I mean. But, I couldnt deny any longer that they make for an awesomely practical carry gun, and thats exactly what I needed right now.

Heres my new Glock 19 next to his big, much more handsome, brother.

And here he is next to his....cousin?

Crappy pic, Ive got no skills

The ugly step child that just got sold

Let me get this straight. You have a H&K and a Sig, so you bought a Glock because you didn't have a carry gun?

What is the camera?
The pics look good (although I will admit I don't care for the subject matter - not a fan of either...) so what is the camera???

I just looked, its called a Sony MVC-CD500, at least I think thats it. Thats whats written on the side of it

As you can tell, im NOT a camera guy, dont know the first thing about them.

I got the Glock because the USP is too big to carry all the time, the Sig wouldnt feed hollow points, and because those goofy 33 round magazines make me smile

The USP hasnt jammed in over 2000 rounds, but I expect the Glock to be just as reliable. I'll report in whenever either of them decides to jam for the first time

Or hold its value.  Hmmmm 800 dollar gun with a cult following vs a 400 dollar piece of tupperware known to kB.  Yeah hard choice.

9mm Glocks are not know to KB or should I say they are as likely to KB as a USP is. I own both the HK and Glock 19 as well as Sig and XD. The $400 19 will do everything the $800 USP will do and just as well. They are both nice guns and both "tupperware". I'd trust my life to a Glock before an HK given the choice.

People always play the "price card" when it comes to the USP. I dont get it. My USP cost me roughly 625 bucks WITH the light setup. Thats what, 100 bucks more than what a Glock runs these days? I'd say its well worth it. I'll still be grabbing the USP over the Glock in case of "emergency"

You ditched the SIG for the Glock?

Yeah, I'd have ditched the huge USP before the SIG, but that's just me.  Having owned a USP in .45, a Tactical in .45, and a Mk 23, I woke up from my HK Koolaid fever and realized they're HUGE and made of PLASTIC and sold/traded them all.

JMHO

(I don't mind Glocks, but I'd never BUY one...  if one was issued or given me, that'd be fine)

looks like a 225, fun to plink with but useless in real world due to magazine limit and prone to feed problem using HP bullets.

Looked more like a 228 to me, but I don't know my SIGs that well...
