This was done as a gift for a friend of mine who is a cancer survivor. She's also a black belt in kempo. My instructor bought the knife for her and I'm contributing the Cerakote and the labor.

It's a bench made knife, stripped down to bare metal and then cerakoted pink.

The pictures are crappy cell phone pictures, but I think it turned out pretty cool. It was done with the bake on coating.

The fixture it is hanging on is made from 6061 aluminum flat and a length of aluminum rod (don't know the specs on the rod).

That's sweet...

the color doesn't really show in the pics, but I get the idea.

Only problem I have is with the sheath. Boiling pot of water and a packet of RIT black oughta fix it. *I think*

I offered to do the sheath as well, but was told to leave it as is...

the color is a little pinker than pepto-bismo, but not as bright a pink as I had hoped it would be.
