In the same lot as Velvet Revolver and the Darkness (more AC/DC-Queen than GnR), these guys are doing their best to revive the Sunset Strip metal of the 80s. You may remember their hit "Lit Up" (aka "I love the cocaine...") from 1999.

Their new single, Crazy Bitch, is awesome. Check out the new uncensored video....should be an interesting crowd at their upcoming shows.

I like Buckcherry. Got their first album, and the three songs I've heard off the second are all pretty fun. Their songwriting is for crap, though. It's just dumb, catchy good-time rock'n'roll.

A good rock song should make you want to drink, fight or fuck (or sometimes all three). Buckcherry=mission accomplished.

Gratuitous use of curse words...I'm no prude, but it doesn't add anything to this music.

I would be fine with a return to some Sunset Strip type metal...but then, I wouldn't mind having Ride the Lightning type Metallica back, either.

I think I might have been born about 10 years late...
