The article stated no amount was listed, where did you get the 1 mil figure?

Zimmerman should have jumped bail and headed for a country with no extradition when he had the chance.
He's going to get railroaded into prison no matter what. |

Hopefully when this shit storm is over, the good people of Florida, DOJ investigators, and FL Bar will pick over these proceedings with a fine toothed comb and give Corey and this judge the dry ass hole fucking they are so loudly asking for.
Either that or a swarm of fucking kill dozers. I'm good either way. |

So that's $100,000 to a bondsman that Zimmerman doesn't get back, correct? Is the Judge pissed over the defense fund and trying to wipe it out? That's what it looks like.

Yeah, I'd like to know how that works as well. If a Bondsman coughs up the $1M, how much is Zimmerman actually expected to pay? |

|
Don't lie at your bond hearing and these things won't happen to you
I still don't think he's a flight risk and this bail seems more to punish him for tricking the court and then embarrassing them when it turned out he had that money, but I am not surprised at this result.

I don't think his bail would be forfeited. That usually happens because you missed court, but he showed up and just had his bail raised. I would think whoever posted the original bail could get it back, but maybe I am missing something. |

he will make bail. and I hope he walks away a free man too at the end of the day, but I doubt justice will prevail in our broken system

The so called "Americans" that are in power can go fuck themselves! this man did nothing wrong. absolutely and possitively nothing wrong and he is going to be crucified because of a bunch of NAACP called it racial profiling. fuck anyone that doesnt understand that this man was defending his own life and livelyhood and anyone that argues that should be tarred and feathered and burned at the stake. the judge that keeps upping bail is just a soulless, balless fag that doesnt understand American roots and thinking.

I am waiting for the arfcom millionaires to step up and bail him out.
Isn't everyone in here (except me ) balling 9 sports cars with 25 years of living expenses saved up, banging 8 super models each week, and making 8 figures? |

I'd be thinking of "fleeing" as well if I was Zimmerman!!!!
He is being charged for murder because a bunch of animals threatened to riot, so to save face Florida charged him, even though he didn't break the law as it was written at the time! He's gotta have a bullseye on his head in jail...... and he is getting railroaded because he is white. Life is going to be very tough for him in prison!!!! Unfortunately I think Florida is going to make sure this innocent man is going to prison so they don't have another LA riot situation This country is SOOOOOOOO fucked up when it comes to the color of a person's skin!!!! If you are any other color than white you get treated differently if someone of another race whine and bitches enough the USA will do whatever they want even if it means sending an innocent man to jail!!!!! unfortunately I think the US is no longer the greatest country on earth, its too worried about being PC and over regulation to be free and safe Be careful gents, sharpton and his bunch are after your freedoms! |

However if he is found not guilty, or more accurately if/when the case is dismissed, as I assume it will be after this stand your ground hearing, the money should be returned.Quoted: Quoted: So that's $100,000 to a bondsman that Zimmerman doesn't get back, correct? Planning to flee? Is this judge a fucking retard?
I'm not advocating he do it, but if I made bail after this, I would sure as fuck flee the country. This is so far beyond full retard it's pathetic. |

Yes GZ was a BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG flight risk!
He has only done everything the Criminal Justice System in FLA has asked of him. O'Mara needs to get before the TV Camera's and start hammering back at these Bastards. And I am one that does not like to see cases argued on TV. GZ will get life in PMITAP and those fuckwads won't even blink an eye. Ed |

why don't we start a fund to contribute to his bond
come on guys |

I'm sorry to say this, but Zimmerman is fucked. This story ends with him spending most of, if not all of the rest of his life in prison.
Chapter II is the precedent this case will set. |

It surprises me that people are still surprised by this shit. I thought we all knew the system was fucked and people were being railroaded in the name of racism and political correctness.

The judge altered his bail because Zimmerman and his wife conspired to deceive the Court and embarrassed the judge. However it sounds like he still set the bail at an amount Zimmerman can make, assuming bond requires 10% cash of the bond value. He didn't change the bail because he's evil and out to get Zimmerman. Zimmerman claims he shot Martin only after Martin assaulted him an seriously injured him. That appears to protect him under the state stand your ground law. The one witness only saw the end of the confrontation but seems to say the same thing and Zimmerman's injuries (as far as I know) are consistent with that. Unless the prosecution has some evidence I don't know about they don't have shit on this guy. The judge is stuck with either dismissing it or sitting through a messy full blown trial that is only going to be reversed on appeal later anyway.

I thought the 10% to the bail guy was money that you were out... Isn't that how the bondsman make their money? Correct. If a bondsman posts the money, they are guaranteeing the full amount of the bail to the court, in this case one million dollars. The 10% that is paid to the bondsman by the defendant is nonrefundable. If however FL is one of the states that allows the accused to post their own bond, which must be the full amount, one million, (in the absence of a surety) the money is recoverable minus certain fees. |

let this be a lesson to you boys and girls.
it is easier to recover in the hospital from an attack by a punk ass kid, than it is to be arrested, railroad by a judge, used as a political tool, and face murder charges. |
