Drove 3 hours and picked up my new toy. Armalite AR50L (Lefty.) Mounted the scope rail, bipod, replaced some of the screws with thumb screws. SniperM88 mounted the Springfield Armory 6x20 scope for me. Cleaned the barrel a few strokes and then moved to the 'range'. Setup about 85 yards away from the target. First shot. About 2-3 feet low and a little right. Second shot, windage good and about 1' low. Third shot, up 6" inches. Fourth shot, still 6" low. Fifth shot Dead Center. I then let SniperM88 shot a shot and he got dead center. lucky bastard. My 7th and 8th were about 1" away from the X. Sweeet!!!! I love it. I cleaned after every shot for the first 5 then blasted 3. Cleaned it up when I got home. I also tested out my KKF 22lr dedicated upper. Attached it to my M16 lower and blasted throug 5 30 round mags. Not one hiccup. Blasted through another 4 and the last mag was acting up a little. Very satisfied. I'll throw a supressor on it at BlackFox's shoot next Saturday. I had to re-arrange my safe a little to get this beast inside. Here are 3 photos. One of my AR50L and Olivers Savage .308 supressed. The next is the target. Last is my safe. Hey that is a sweet rifle. Since I found out my tax refund will be pretty large this year, I've been entertaining the idea of getting one. Care to share how much that thing put you back? Prices on those things seem to be all over the map. Email would be fine too. Thanks.

What did you pickup? We left around 1pm. It is 3 hours back to my house so we wanted to get going. Yes it weights a TON. My back hurts. Scope and M60 bipod and it is HEAVY.

I now know why they take the Armalite break and put it on other .50's. That thing is sweet. Also, I don't think that scope is going to fall off. [;)]
