He was around 24, I think. I haven't seen him for several years. He had a temper/self-control problem. Anyway, his girlfriend dumped him, so he shot himself. I was standing in the yard talking to friends when she drove up and told us. She's a sweet, bright girl. Apparently he phoned her right before he did it. Quite a burden for her to carry the rest of her life.

Dude, that could seriously fuck a girl up.

My best female friend's fiance when she was younger... blew his brains out RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER. Years later, she was dating my best friend when he died... from a self inflicted gunshot wound (he was bipolar... moved the shotgun from his mouth when he found a reason to go on, and inadvertently discharged it into his shoulder... he lost too much blood).

It seriously affected her, and I can understand why.

Sad for the guy, but he likely had problems and had not sought help.

suicide is a selfish act.......the person is obviously not thinking about how others would feel as a result of their actions........My sympathies to his family.
