Anyone have a link to online manuals?

Want to change the oil but no clue on the harleys.

There is a dump plug for the gear box, whats up with the engine oil?

Had an '89 Superglide.

Basically, there should be a plugged hose (usually just jammed with a bolt) tucked away somewhere between the motor and the oil tank. You lower that below the level of the engine case and remove the plug.

Don't forget to remove the oil tank cap.

Remove and replace the filter.

Replace with fresh 20w50.

[guess]the hose may have ran to just below the battery box, like on the old sportsters[/guess]

I have an '83 FXR, and the engine oil is drained via a drain plug on the oil tank on mine - it'll either be that way, or a line coming off the tank - possibly to a frame mounted plug... The oil filter is under the swingarm, in front of the rear wheel - I've found a 16" pair of channel lock pliers works best for loosening my oil filter....
