I have the volume turned up full on the keyboard, on the video's I'm watching, on my windows media player, on my  media center, & on the speakers themselves, but I get barely any sound. I tried going into my control panel & sound & audio devices & have turned it up to full volume but still very little sound.

My speakers are fairly new I got them last December with the computer all my stuff is brand new.

How do I fix this?

I know this may not help, but you dont have a music player that may have gotten turned down? I know if one of the many players I have gets tuned down, I gets no volume.

make sure the power is plugged in
make sure the speakers are plugged into the correct jack. (my computer has 5 different speaker jacks, only one works correctly)

ETA:
also check the other volume levels.  just because the main volume is all the way up, there are others that could be turned down.
go to control panel
then sounds and audio devices
then audio tab
then the first volume button.
you will get a panel with some volume bars.
go to options
then properties.
select all of the check boxes then hit okay
adjust the various volume levels.  some won't do anything, some will.

Check that you don't have a mic input selected.
