Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need laptop help!!!!

I have an HP laptop that is about 4 years old. Worked fine yesterday but today the letters and numbers are messing up. I push the 5 key and it shows " t5". Caps. Lock comes on and off, I push the L key and a box appears.  WTF???

Any help or should I just shoot it?

see if your on screen keyboard does the same.
will tell you if someone jacked with your machine, or if the keyboard is flipping out.
