PICKED UP A stock for the either and m1 or m2 CARBINE stock - dark walnut has springfield tamping on stock right side - looks like a wincheter butt plate - 4 on top and 2 on the bottem metal checkering, not p on pistol grip , NO OTHER MARKINGS.
Any body know the date and what this is? YES I KNOW IT I A M1 / M2 CARBINE STOCK - I NEED TO DATE IT |

can't help on the date...
However if it is a M-2 stock it will have a selector slot cut into it (forward left side of the receiver channel). The M-1 will not have this cut. |
