Guys I'm tryiny to fig out what I want to get next.
Either a Storm in 9mm or a XD-9 5inch TAC

What do you guys think
Note - Ment to say on the poll "wait for the AWB to lift".

Snag the Storm... cheap to feed, mags are plentiful (more so in a few weeks) and they just look like damn sexy plinkers.

Wait for the AWB to be lifted and then pick up one of those TEC-9's. I hear they are a bullet hose! and You get more thrusts per squeeze!

Best price here in Ga I have found with the storm is 600 bucks.
Am I wrong in thinking thats alittle high? I also wonder on both
the above when full mags will come out.

I kinda like the Storm. I got a XD myself and I dont care for it.

We tested the 4incher XD's and we hated them. "glock trained" anyway I got to shoot a XD 5inch tac about 2 months ago and was WAY better. But your right I like the storm. I like the G22 from walther as well but I have enough .22 stuff as it is. Whats the best price you guys have found on 9mm ammo?
Last I got some from CTD for 120 something for 1000 rounds.

Walmart will be about 120 for 1000. Few months ago I picked up a few thousand rounds at Sports Athority for $5/50.

I dont like tbe XD40 I have becuase it rusts.

The G22 does look kinda cool but my P22 sucks.

Humm I like my P22 its a fun toy. The big thing for me though is I don't make whole lot cash so
I try to keep guns around I can afford to go shoot. The G22 is actualy a pretty kool toy as well.
But I need something for range shooting, varment hunting "close range" to home defense, think of it as a mutipurpose weapon. I "think" the storm would fit that calling. The XD won't but it would give me the range,car and home protection..

I hate having money and now not being about to spend it cause I know if I go out today and buy one of the above then Sept will roll around and I will feel totaly jipped.

Im in same situation. I want to buy something right now and I got the cash onhand for it. Im holding off until the AWB sunset. My P22 has given me alot of trouble.

Get the Storm.

It is an easily accessorised super short carbine, and if you shoot it with 147 grain rounds, it sounds like a pellet gun. As soon as my new red dot arrives, this will become my new home defense gun.

How much did the piggy rail cost you?,, infact how much did you pay for yours?
Like I said the best I could find on one here was 600. I'm not sure if thats a
good price or not.

And if I wait for AWB to go away how long do you think it will be before full mags will be standered?

Fails to eject, feed, and fire.

Tried diffrent ammo, have 3 mags and 2 barrels they all do that.

Well couldn't take it anymore and picked one up.
Pretty happy with it. The ONLY thing really that
they should have put it is the mag release is only on the
left side. They should have made it ambi. I ordered
a top rail to put a red dot on. I really wanted to grab
a MP5 clone but with all the reports of them being
POS's I got the storm instead. Pretty happy I did.
Now if I can just find a place that sells 9mm ammo
cheaper than 7.99 a box.
