I am told (250) ArmaLite AR-7 Explorer marked
survival rifles were brought in by CDNN in 1994.
Many of us are familiar with the standard
AR-7 where the entire rifle broke-down and
stored in the stock.
This rifle has a collapsible stock and a
Mauser (?) type suppressor.
Rifle is .22 Cal.
While anything is possible, I do not believe
this is an AR-7 an individual has modified.
From what I could see, looks more like a factory
mod.

I've only seen one poor picture and now that
picture is gone.

Anyone have information ?

Thanks !!

S.E.M CA. its in the same color as the Armalite and adress so I believe it was remarked.

ArmaLite Fan, your "bad" pictures are much better than the one I saw.  Thanks very much as
this is the rifle I just bought.

Do you have any info on this rifle ? Was it
made for the Israeli's ?  How many made/imported?

"Surfer,"
First manufacturer was ArmaLite - then Charter
Arms - then Survival Arms-now Henry & AR-7
Industries.

AR-7 is reported to be another of Eugene Stoner's creations.

Twenty years back your AR-7 was probably a
Charter Arms as Charter manufactured this rifle
from 1974-1990.

Hope this helps.
