I now have a big green egg grill that is about 15 years old and looks like it has sat out in the rain and sun for its entire life.  The outer finish is nasty looking with serious fading and small lines running everywhere.

I would like to totally take it apart and repaint the grill along with all the metal clamps, handle, and vents.

What do I need to do get it looking right and make it last a long time?

This will sit under my back porch out of the sun and rain for now on.
