I use my rifle for mostly coyote hunting/calling. I now use a bushmaster shorty, and like it very much. I'm thinking of having another rifle built. I would like something with a little longer barrel for the extra velocity and less muzzle blast. The 24' barrel is too long, and more than I like. What kind of velocity increase can I expect 16' to 18' to 20'. Thanks Byron

BEER SLAYER IS WAY OFF BASE!!! actually not but I was just putting him in his place like he asked. [;)] I have a 24" and a 20. 24 seems to get juuuuust a little tighter group at longer distances. besides it is a sleek looking rifle, bi-pod, flat top, 24" barrel and a scope...SU-WEEEEET. 24 is also good for a benchtop shooting. I NEED a 16" next.... ...Thanks CTTC, this thread is now gonna cost me money!
