Hey guys, I like to burn my own cds, I make em for my friends and stuff too.
Someone posted a link earlier to a music video montage of BHD footage put to the song "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor" by Drowning Pool. Awhile back someone else posted a link to a flash vid set to the song "Die Motherfucker Die" by Dope. This kind of music makes me warm and fuzzy all over. I want more heavy hitting, hardcore driving/shooting music, the harder the better. Lyrics pertaining to kicking someone's ass, etc. are a plus but not required. I'm looking for stuff to scare soccer moms, songs that will make Tipper Gore cover Al's ears so he doesn't hear them. I'll be up all night working on a take home final, with Kazaa doin it's thing-- I want to hear your suggestions! |
|
RESPECT - Pantera
Down with the sickness - Disturbed Something Wicked - Nuclear Assault Anything by a Boston local band called Tree circa 1993. |
|
Some suggestions:
Danzig-Mother White Zombie-Welcome to plante Motherfvcker, Quake II theme (no words but good beat), more human than human Anything by Rage Against the Machine Static X- Push it Guns n Roses- Welcome to the Jungle (a classic) If you like Rap, i can give a bunch more recommendations. And good luck w/ that final. I finished last week. |

Any music by [red]Dying Fetus[/red] will strike fear into the heart of Soccer moms everywhere.
Other good bands (harder than Pantera): Nile (Excellent Band!) Suffocation Internal Bleeding early Cryptopsy (when Lord Worms was still vocalist) Many others...of those, Dying Fetus and Nile I think are the most musically talented. Vader is also quite good, and they are from Poland so there's lots of 3rd-world brutality that comes out really well in their music. I like Pantera as well. Quite hard, and technically talented. But these bands are harder. Check out some of those bands and let me know how you like them. If you do, I've got plenty more suggestions. -Nick Viejo. |

Negative on the rap. It makes me look over my shoulder all the time and I can't see where I'm driving.
|
|
Try these for fun:
“Violence” - Primer 55 "The Big Fuck You" - Primer 55 “Life to Lifeless” – Killswitch Engage |

I like Suffocation, great stuff, arent they a new york band? As for Nile, theyre pretty decent as well, but i never got too into em, good band nevertheless. My favorite suffocation songs are probably funeral inception, catatonia, thrones of blood, you know, stuff a soccer mom could really get in to. I never really looked into dying fetus though. What are some other bands you like? As far as American death metal goes, i like Deicide, old Slayer, stuff along those lines. My real love of metal lies in the European stuff, especially Swedish death metal [;)] |

I forgot about Disposable Heroes. THat song is awesome. I also like The Four Horsemen off Kill 'Em All.
Don't know if the songs should have a certain theme, but Megadeth's The Conjuring (about satanic rituals) and Tornado of Souls (about fighting alcohol addiction) get my blood pumping. Rollins' Step Back is nice music while lifting weights. Danzig's Left Hand Black is also on one of my workout CDs. |

Although I'm not a huge fan of "Gimp Triskit" as the_Reject calls them, I have to say that Break Stuff is one song i like to listen to when pissed off or seething about something.
|
|
Fear Factory = Edgecruser, Decent, Repentance
Machine Head = Davidian (let freedomw ring with...) Testament = Soulblack album These are pretty mainstream and not all that heavy. If you want to hear; Droneing Pool, Slipup, God'scrack, Greed, or some other crap, why bother burning a CD? Just turn on the F'ing radio! Some SHTF CD that would make. NAPALM DEATH, now we are talking! |
|
Quoted: NAPALM DEATH, now we are talking! View Quote NAPALM DEATH is simply the heaviest band there is. Other heavy hitters: MORPHEUS DESCENDS GRAVE MORTICIAN MORBID ANGEL BOLT THROWER |

View Quote Check out my FTP server, bud. You'll find much better songs about anger. I'd recommend some Nothingface, particularly "Blue Skin". Also, check out some Slayer - Threshold, War Zone, Here Comes The Pain, and Payback might be just what the doctor ordered. |

|
Jerk Off by TOOL
Jerk-Off Someone told me once that there's a right and wrong, and that punishment would come to those who dare to cross the line. But it must not be true for jerk-offs like you. Maybe it takes longer to catch a total asshole. but I'm tired of waiting. Maybe it's just bullshit and I should play GOD, and shoot you myself.* Because I'm tired of waiting. Consequences dictate our course of action and it doesn't matter what's right. It's only wrong if you get caught. If consequences dictate my course of action I should play GOD and shoot you myself.* I'm very tired of waiting. I should kick you, beat you, fuck you, and then shoot you in your fucking head.* |
