I owe someone a lot of money, but i dont have it at the moment.
Can i get a loan from a bank? do i have to give them a reason for the loan? whats the best excuse i can come up with that will get me the largest loan possible? i have good credit close to 850 and employed. |

Walk into a bank and ask for an unsecured loan? How much do you need? Do you have any collateral?

Who do you owe it to? If it's not a friend or family, tell 'em to fuck off and show them the end of a barrel when they show up to collect.

View Quote IF your serious then just ask for a personal loan, last time i asked i was thinking of picking up a used jeep for a toy and the bank would give me a loan for 5k no problem at all but the interest rate sucked so i passed on it. Edit: damn your fucked 50k they are going to want some collateral. |

$50,000 can i use 401K or IRA as collateral? i also have a car, probably worth about $10,000 View Quote Holy crud. I'm not certain about using those as collateral, but I know you can cash the 401k and IRA out early. It takes a huge penalty for doing so, but if it is as serious as you make it sound the penalty may be the least of your worries. Good luck. |

Look at your 401K plan, you maybe able to borrow against it, see your plan administrator. Got a house or other collateral? |

Good Sunday night entertainment.
How in the hell do you owe "someone" $50k without it being something shady? |

Go bang 500 fat chicks for 100 a pop....Or see a loan shark, unless that's who you owe money to, in that case your going to get a visit late at night to get shaken down. Op is screwed
I'm not suggesting doing anything illegal though (edit) All just hypothetical ideas |
