I'm finally breaking down and getting one. Looking for one that is solid yet cheap. I see one at Brownells made by Wichita Arms for around $130. Any one have one of these? Any other brands?

The Midway Deluxe is very good and not too expensive. I'm very happy with mine. www.midwayusa.com

A good sand bag is better than a cheap rest.the Hoppes sucks, real wiggly. If you just want to site in and test a few loads,a good sand bag ( coin bag from bank full of fine sand)and a high quality bunny ear rear bag is the ticket. If you are going deep into the accuracy world, buy the hart or sinclair or bald eagle now and get it over with. If it isnt heavy enuf to be a pain in the ass to lug around, your not getting all the stability you can outta your setup. Two big hints to bag/rest shooting-take your front swivel off,and dust the spots front and rear where the rifle sits with baby powder so the rifle slides real smooth on recoil.
