I need an under sink, inline water filter, with a separate faucet for drinking/coffee water. Any suggestions on a brand/type that works well, average cost, and will be around for a while so filters can be had 5, 10 years from now.

I am interweb shopping now and appreciate any input...HEY, it's GD so you can give me pretty much any advice you want...BTW, my water taste like shit.

Thanks

Delta makes a great faucet that I just picked up for my new countertops (when they are installed). It uses standard PUR 3 stage water filters.

It's going to set you back almost $300 but it might be worth it for you if your water tastes that bad. And the faucet they include with it is of MUCH higher quality than the junky plastic ones they include in other sets.

Edit: Here is the one we picked up

The faucet included in that set is almost as solid as the one we picked up for the sink itself!

Get a small RO system. I have one at the house, and it works great. Grainger sells them.

Is that hot and cold water or cold water only?
