Not only not before he leaves office, but barring a massive natural catastrophe that affects the entirety of the US or Earth as a whole (such as a pandemic, comet strike, etc.), then probably not even in your lifetime.


At this point, unless the trends of the past two hundred+ years magically do a 180 degree change of course and America's demographics and voting ideological tides radically shift from liberalism to conservatism, then yes a civil uprising (assuming you mean civil war) is our only option left for a re-set of some kind. What is unknown of course would be what kind of reset would grow out of that conflict. The winners and loser may not be who you want them to be, and even if they are the government they build may not be the one you want.

America is on the slow downward slide into full blown socialism. And those of us resisting disliking it are a minority that is fairly powerless to stop it through legal means.

It's not going to happen.  Most Americans today are too lazy, fat, and ignorant to "rise up".  The only thing they might do is grab a beer and get on the internet to view porn or post their discontent but to physically get out of the house and do something? NO!

I think most Americans that are lazy and fat are quite happy with the status quo, and therefore have little cause to "rise up" against the government. Of those who dislike liberalism and America's slow decent into socialism I think many would readily take up arms and fight against the tyranny should someone somewhere get the party started. But right now those individuals are kept in check by fear of the local PD showing up to arrest them and confiscate their guns. Fear of CPS showing up to take their children away. Fear of losing their job and their wife and kids ending destitute and in the soup line. The federal government has won in the capacity that local government agents have become their jack-booted thugs, and any attempt at an "uprising" will be a singular event where the perpetrators are isolated by the government so they can use their lapdog MSM propagandists to portray the usurpers as "terrorists," or "militia nuts," or "loony religious cults," etc. so that no one will come to their aid.
