in the very early models that came with a 15 rnd mag. did they have an aluminum follower ??

what year would a S/N A 172xxx have been made ??

what would one be worth in very good condition ??

does S&W give out info on guns they made/make ???

Don't know , I would guess 1975

what would one be worth in very good condition ??
for sale on gunbroker in $300-400 range. $300 would be tops that I'd pay

don't know , call them and ask

Nice guns, other than the Hi-Power one of the first hi-caps. I wish I hadn't sold mine. I would buy another if I could find one for $250- $300
