There is a candidate for the Governor of South Carolina on the Republican platform who needs help winning an unofficial newspaper pole. Her name is Reb Sutherland. She is definitely Pro-Gun as well as Pro-Constitution, pro-Life, Pro-Nuclear Cleanup, Pro-Parents, and pro-Major Tax Cuts. If you like, you can view her position in detail at her web site www.rebsutherland.com

Reb needs our help to win another gubernatorial poll.  This one is with the The Times Examiner newspaper. She won the first two internet polls for S.C. Governor in the Fall. It is time to win another! Internet polls are not limited to South Carolina folks.  She needs as many folks in other states as she can possibly muster to respond to this urgent request.  Reb needs people to go to   www.timesexaminer.com   and cast their/your “vote” for Reb. Pass it on . . .

Here is an e-mail she sent out explaining what happened and asking for help.

“Hello:

Well . . . you were so successful in voting for Reb Sutherland in the recent poll that the webmaster panicked.

Reb went from 23 votes on Sunday to 171 votes on Monday.  BAM!!  That put Reb in the lead with the following tally:

Reb Sutherland       81.71%
Charlie Condon         6.29%
Mark Sanford            4.57%
Bob Peeler               4.00%
Jim Hodges              1.14%
Kenneth Wingate      1.71%

Folks, that gave the liberals a heart attack!

The webmaster was so worried that he reset the poll on Sunday night and made all candidates back to zero.

Did it stop Reb?  Not at all!  By Monday morning Reb was still in the lead!  Today, Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at 8:30 p.m., Reb is still leading in the poll conducted
by The Times Examiner.

However, the Democrats have discovered this poll.  They are trying to make Governor Hodges beat Reb.

So, please vote again -- www.timesexaminer.com

There is speculation that your first vote may not be counted in the totals at this time.

A very good conservative editor is watching this poll and he will report our victory.

Let me remind you that politics IS WAR.  We use "word bullets" to do our damage to one another.  This poll is very serious in the long term advantage we are extracting against our unconstitutional enemies.  We cannot afford to lose these critical battles.

Please, continue to fight with Reb . . . and win!

Sincerely,
Reb Sutherland

We're trying to keep Reb ahead of the competition. She needs all the help she can get. Has anybody voted?

Aimless corrected the links so now it'll be easier to post your "vote" at The Times Examiner. Thanks Aimless.

Ok y'all. We would like to really slam dunk 'em. Here's a chance to vote for a winner. Last I checked Reb had 164 "votes": more than all other candidates combined! At last we have a patriot who's making a serious and winable showing.
