Ok.  Here is the deal.  GF has a Ford Mustang keychain her father gave her that he got sometime in the 60's-70's (she thinks).  He gave it to her.  The front of it fell off.  It was almost like an epoxy resin coating over a mustang symbol.  Here is what the rest of the keychain looks like (whats left).  She and I have different opinions on what it looks like (i.e color).  I have scoured Ebay, cant find it.  First person to find a one wins the free pmag.  Must include link of not just picture, but where we can get the replacement.

The back shows a Copyright mark, and crown w/ a circle, and a registered mark.

I have learned when in doubt...the hive can deliver...especially when prizes are on the line....

*and sorry, no pics of the new GF, she does not want to be posted on the interwebs.  i know I know..im working on it guys, but it will take time.

EDIT - NOW WILLING TO GIVE IT AWAY LOADED W/ 30 rounds of M855!!!!!

My dad sold Fords for 29 years, retiring in 97. I willing to bet he has one, if not I from when I was a little turd.

Yours is missing the front and the leather fob.

Perhaps..but that is not the correct front.  She thinks it blue, I think it was an amber (green/orange..what do I know Im colorblind ) color...I do that wasnt it.

Finding the same vintage keychain on the net will be tough.

I would take the investigative approach and start with clubs and
other organizations that specialize in such things.  They can
most likely point you to someone who collects auto keychains.

Example:   http://www.keychaincollector.com/

Good luck to you.

not it either..has to be "the one"..doesnt have the outer circle...I think that is going to be a tell-tale to which is it really, as most all the others, even w/ the leather fobs, have only the inner circle.

Hah..I would If I could.  It has a lot of sentential value, and though replacing it does not replace it, it does make good on a gift from her father that she loves very much.  Wish I could fellas...and the wheel turns.

I'm going to go break out my mustang bible and see what I can see. It goes back to the first Mustang prototype that was a mid engined lightweight sports car. MAybe there is a key ring picture in it like what you are describing.
