Got kind of an interesting situation.

My CIO lost touch with his kid. I don’t think there was animosity involved...I believe it was a “new family” type deal and they drifted apart.

The guy is a genuinely good guy and has paternal regrets. He’s desperate to get in touch with the kid.

If the kid isn’t interested in his dad, fine...but I’d like to let him know that his dad is interested.

Any ideas?

I have:

Name (it’s a fairly common name)
Former unit
He was stationed in Seoul at some point
An old phone number

I don’t have his MOS, but I’m thinking he may have been Medical or similar at some point.

Maybe. I’ve got a recently retired E-8 I served with shaking some trees.

Hoping someone here with perscom could back-channel help.

His best bet his speak to the proper personnel department at the base and they'll help him find him.
