Just cut a V notch in the middle of your toe nail. The sides will grow toward the middle in an effort to fill the notch.
The amount of Novocaine you would have to give me to put that thing on when I had ingrown toenail problems would kill a horse. Well I still have problems but not on my big toes. I finally went in and had the sides removed after damn near going into shock after cutting one out.

Looks like it can also be used to adjust a Glock's rear sight.

Looks like Doc raided a Swiss watchmaker's tool bench to me.
OP thinks that is nasty?
We need to toughen this guy up a little. |
Didn't help with my toenail, but man can it uproot a hemorrhoid.
Just take sandpaper and thin the top of the nail and then the nail will bend upward and release all the pressure. Due that regularly when you clip you nails and the problem will disappear
It is all fun and games until you get one yourself.
Extremely painful two weeks. Then the nail got long enough to shove wadding into, and it grew out. Holy crap. |
Makes you want to buy one just because. Great ice breaker, GD style, at a party.

Back in my younger days I had a bad infected ingrown toenail. Went to the doc. Needle in the nerve hurt like a mofo. Removed the nail. It was our anniversary so wifey and I went out for dinner and a movie. Dinner went fine, painkiller quit about 1/2 way thru movie. Elevated the leg on seat in front of me. Went to put it on the floor and damned near passed out.

Looks like a $2 Napa top post battery terminal puller to me...

If you have a ingrown nail it's best to just go get it cut out cause your not going to solve it on your own unless ya rip your nail out.

I had a nail removed when I was a kid. The needle hurt worse than the procedure. damn.
Now I just stuff a big of cotton between the nail and skin where it digs in. Works fine. |
