This thread will be simple. A deal thread for the best current deal on NRA Life Membership or Distinguished Life Membership (Disabled Veteran or over 65 year old membership) .

The best deal that I am aware of right now is for $750 for the Life Membership and $375 for disabled veteran or over 65 life membership. If you know of a better deal, post it. If you buy one, post it (and get your eagle here on Arfcom). If you have questions or comments, post them.

Link below has annual membership for $25, 5 year for $100, Life for $750, and Distinguished Life for $375. If you have a better deal, please share it.

The NRA is what we make of it. If you are not a member and have opinions on what the NRA should or should not be doing, there is one way to influence it and that is through voting membership.

$750 Life Membership / $375 Distinguished Life Membership

Got my eagle in december because of one of these threads. Hope this thread goes at least 100 pages.

If we buy the 5 year/$100 does that mean we can vote on May 21st?

I do not believe so, but that is a question you may want to ask the NRA directly.

Also, if this is in reference to Nolo running, keep in mind he will be seeking petitions after May 21st, 2016 to get onto the 2017 ballot. You've got a year before you can cast a vote on that one.

If you are eligible to vote, you will get a ballot in the mail or your magazine

Life memberships automatically entitle you to vote for board members.

Just applied for Distinguished Life Membership. Anyone know how they verify disabled vet status?

Edit: thanks for the heads-up OP

I'll have to look into some of these upgrades

You also have to be 18 years old to vote for board members. Sucks I can't vote for my two kids.

For some reason it's not showing me the Distinguished Life option...

It was there for me and I submitted mine. Now it's gone

My credit card has the pending $375 charge too.

I recently renewed for 5 years, and this would have been a great chance to get the life membership.

If you follow the link, and click on where it says "Junior, Distinguished and Other Memberships", what do you see?

I picked up a life membership for my daughter pretty recently for $300. There is a thread about it here somewhere where people were worried if it was going to go through or not
