Most responders said it was one of the three in the old thread. New poll with the three most popular.

Which was the best?

Where's all the "Married, with Children" groupies? There were a bazillion write-in votes for that show in my other thread....

Of the three: Mash.

(hums the MASH theme)
Link Posted: 3/12/2006 12:12:07 PM EDT
M*A*S*H was funny at first, but then got old with Alda's preaching.

Seinfeld much funnier, more quotable quotes.

MASH was great, Seinfeld on the other hand sucked.

MASH was good up until the SHTF with the new commander.. trapper leaving..etc.

Went down hill from there, turned into a huge anti-war episode rally.

"Married, With Children".

Whinefeld was nothing but a bunch of crybaby libs
Mash unfortunately jumped the shark when Frank Burns left and became leftist drivel.
Link Posted: 3/12/2006 12:26:14 PM EDT
None of those really, but out of those Seinfeld. Married, with Children was a horrible show.

Married with children was great, but Seinfeld was simply the funniest show on television.

Seinfeld, hands down.
It went out at the top of its game.
And it created and maintained the BEST ensemble cast in sitcom history. Any episode could easily be carried by any of the primary stars, even Newman would have made great episodes.

MASH?
1. Frank Burns left and was replaced with Winchester.
2. The death of Henry Blake was probably the most genius moment in TV history. But, they replaced him with that senile bastage Potter.
3. Trapper John left and they came back with BJ Hunnicut?

MASH got way to preachy and lost sight of the fact that it was a comedy.
Personally, the entire show was little more than Alan Alda doing a bad Groucho Marx impression.
Larry Linvelle and McLean Stevenson made that show and it showed when they left.

And MWC was nothing more than booby jokes end-to-end.
Somewhat funny, but it got really old really quick.

Of the 3, definitely Seinfeld..

MwC is getting its butt kicked.

Archie Bunker was my favorite (All In The Family)...

Man, the stuff they got away with on TV before being PC was popular...

MASH!
Link Posted: 3/12/2006 2:21:46 PM EDT
Mash doesn't hold up, and its self-righteousness is nauseating.

Married is good, but I have forgotten most of them. Seinfeld is timeless.

Watched Seinfeld 4 or 5 times. to me it wasn't funny.

Married....With Children on the other hand was by far the funniest show on the air.

Yeah,I mean, who ever liked it, fine but I NEVER really saw the big attraction.
MASH has been watched since it first aired and I went over to a friends place to watch the final episode. We had Pizza and coke and made a party out of it but it was dead quiet during the show.

Uh-oh. MwC is making a comeback....

None of the above. WKRP kicked all their asses. Hell, News Radio was better than any of the ones listed.

MASH was great up until Larry Linville left. I think it was at its peak when he was there. With Lt Col Blake or Col. Potter, it doesnt matter, as long as there was a Frank Burns.

I could never get into Seinfeld. I just never found any of the members funny. I think the writters made that show funny. Notice non of them is worth a shit alone?

Married With Children, is a legend. It doesnt matter what new characters were in, it was funny. When Katty Sagal was on bereavement, it was still funny.

More people watched MASH - but a LOT more people could relate to Seinfeld.

I never found Sienfeld funny. Just obnoxious.

Best sit-com ever SLEDGEHAMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got to love aa show where their cliff hanger season ender had a nuke blow up in the heroes face. To paraphrase my hero Sledge: "Trust me. I know what I'm talking about."

Holy crap, I am the exact oposite of you. I liked Winchester better than Burns, Potter was the better col. , and Hunnicut was way better.

Answer's still Seinfeld....by a good distance IMHO.

Firelotus,
A little off topic, but I just noticed your sig line (lyric from "Possession"), am I to assume you're a fellow Sarah McLachlin fan?
