from Down Under. It has now been 12 months since gun owners in
Australia
were forced by a new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be
destroyed by our own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers

than $500 million dollars.

The first year results are now in: Australia-wide, homicides
are up 6.2 percent, Australia-wide, assaults are up 9.6 percent ;
Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!
In the
state of Victoria alone, homicides with firearms are now up 300
percent.
(Note that while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the
criminals did
not! and
criminals still possess their guns!

I got this Email a couple of years ago.

It's been longer than 12 months since they've been enslaved by now I'm sure.

i have 4 friends in Austrailia, ....2 are police officers, ........theyve informed me they dont know the EXACT NUMBERS, but the above is absolute FACT,.....period.

It's pretty true. There's a report out by the Australian Buero(sp) of Criminology (something like that) that published similar figures last year. I'll try to dig it up...

What was the penalty for not turning in your own property? ,  and how did the Govt. know "which" people had guns , and witch did not ?


And why not act like the illegals in this country , and "protest" , and just tell the Govt. to go Fuk itself ?

The above info is 6 years old. It is not fact.

Thank you for the totally worthless information. I'll be sure to pass it on to Sara Brady, I'm sure she will give up on gun control because your "friend" told you it doesn't work.
