So, I went to the race today with free tickets, ate some pretty good food, got a bunch of free shit and then it got rained out and I stopped at Cabela's on the way home and bought a new gun.

If that wasn't bad enough, the race is rescheduled for tomorrow, so now I've got to waste another day not getting any work done, spend half a day watching cars going 180 mph and crashing into each other and into walls plus eating all kinds of good stuff that is terrible for you. Not to mention, I've got an extra ticket for tomorrow so I'm taking one of my sons out of school and dragging him with me.

I hate NASCAR!

I went to the Daytona500 several years ago. and holy shit that shit has to be worse then golf I would have paid for it to rain it out as I went with others and had no way to leave.

I prefer the days when the drivers smelled like leaded fuel and looked like coal miners. NASCAR sold out, can't even get a driver interview without them trying to pimp some POS product.

Wife couldn't go on Monday, so it was me, two of my buddies and I took my middle son out of school to go to the race.

It was terrible everyone there was miserable. Nobody had a good time because NASCAR sucks so much.

Haters!

Nascar's fun at least they let you bring your own beer in, you can even have an evil smoke too while watching the race.

Other than that all the people we met at the race were so nice and somebody even gave two of my buds with no tickets free tickets.

What other sporting event can you have this much fun at?

Screw spending 8-10 bucks for a beer and another 10 for a burger.

I went to the New Hampshire speedway last year for the sprint cup.

I'll be making another weekend of it this year.

I went to Talladega twice. Best race and racetrack on the circuit. Was rained out the first time. Regardless, I loved both races. I also went to Bristol, which I loved.

You gotta know how to watch it. If you go there just to see some cars go in a circle, that is all you are going to get out of it. Most people go there and have a driver they are following, so the whole time they are just worried about what that guy does, so it isn't as monotonous as watching the aggregate go in a circle. You are analyzing your driver's turns, speed, etc. Going there without knowing much, yes it is unbearably boring. Luckily, for those who may be bored, there is a copious amount of alcoholic beverages and fried food to increase the entertainment level.
