I ordered replacement velour headphone pads for my Sony V-6's from Beyerdynamic on Thusrday, the guy on the phone said they would ship the next day. Well, one buisness day after that, today, I recieved my shipment. Strangely though, I got two packages. Both have the phrase "GO Penn State!" as the attention line on the address sticker (which is where I live). I guess the Beyer guy must have gone to Penn State! One of the packages is small and cube shaped, which I expect are the pads. The second package is about 3 feet tall and weighs like 10 lbs. It is not well wrapped. So, what the heck do you guys guess is in a 3 feet by 6" by 4", 10 lbs package from Beyerdynamic for me!?! A bomb?!?!

I opened it, and no boom! It is three of these:

It is some sort of tripod set for speakers or something, I dunno. Why Beyer sent them to me, I have no idea...

Is it really furry like that, or are you posting in Living Glaucoma-Vision?

This may actually be A TRAP.

Saw the picture - it's a music stand like you'd put the musical score from a piece you're playing. I used one for years to display the record album that was currently on the turntable.

Not strong enough to mount a speaker on.

It's not a music stand, it is definately a speaker stand. The top of it is a large screw for attaching a speaker to. Also, it has like 5 sections for setting a precise height. It's probably for high-end home theater speakers.
