I'm about to have myself scalped in order to solve this! I'm at my wits end!

My head grows more pimples that hair follicles! Any ideas on how to fix one, the other, or both?

YES, I take a shower WITH SHAMPOO every day. I've used several brands of shampoo and even soap. No dice.

HELP!

My wife makes a twice a year trip up to Etheridge Tenn to Amish country to buy lye soap. Its made just like it was 150 years ago. The lye concentrate will kill any bacteria which cause problems like you have referenced. It also will take care of heat rashes, poison ivey, ect. The next best thing is Octagon soap. I use it daily for shampoo and everything else. While not as concentrated as the lye soap, its a very good daily use hygiene item. Modern shampoos and soaps all have chemicials and perfume which you are either allergic to or are stopping up your pores causing the problems. Its either that or you are real greasy headed ( I was in the army with a guy we called the crisco kid, he could go in the shower and come out dry) and the shampoos you are using aren't up to the task. All a dermatoligist will do is charge you $100 for the visit and and write you a prescription for another $50 for something that won't work.

Dermatologist.

That or shave it with a straight razor with a very shallow angle of attack.. 10 degrees or less. Sure, it'll cut off everything including your skin, but hey, at least when it scars up you won't have to worry about shaving or acne there again.

Seriously, some people just have acne. I wash my skin daily and still am relatively spotty. I know somebody whose face is a mass of red, white-tipped bumps.

My dad had the same problem and his doctor had him use Green Soap to wash his hair. It is a surgical soap. Problem solved and it didn't screw up his hair. He used to buy it at Walgreens.

Dandruff shampoo seemed to fix my problem...

I hadn't really noticed it until i started shaving my head last year... WOOOOO did my scalp have a little rebellion... and it didn't stop when my hair grew in.

Try Dandruff shampoo, if it doesn't work, something with disinfectant... some of them fancy doctor soaps.
