You are having a serious conversation with the dog?

Does he tell you to kill people?

Sometimes an attitude adjustment is all that is needed.

If the cat doesn't mind (does it?), why should you?
Link Posted: 4/10/2006 3:02:25 PM EST
He doesnt know any better. He's just "gettin' his".
Link Posted: 4/10/2006 3:07:30 PM EST
Finally! Someone else still uses the term "hump".
Link Posted: 4/10/2006 3:07:30 PM EST
You'll end up with something like this:

Sounds like he's just rying to make sure that the cat knows who is the boss

(BTW, to avoid problems in the future, you need to show him the YOU are the boss. So you should start dry-humping him every 2 hours so he gets the message)

Pretty sure your conversation with your Rotty sounds like this to the dog:

"Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah"

If it feels good, he's going to do it.

Actually its a dominance thing among dogs. My female labrador was constantly humping a rather large teddy bear we had up until the time she was two. This too shall pass. It is very common among dogs that are not very aggressive towards other dogs. Mine will run from a poodle, but will bitch slap a pheasant any day!

Me and my little girl in North Dakota this year.

That was a joke patty, i use a spray bottle filled with water, he is deathly afraid of it. Works with the cats also, if they act up they get sprayed.

Its a doninance thing when the dog is trying to hump a person. When it comes to other dogs or objects most likely they're doing it because it feels good.

If your lucky you will "breed the SUPER PET, With the cleanlyness of a dog and the loyality of a cat" (Homer Simpson).

Or is that the Loyality of a dog and the cleanlyness of a cat.

The dog will do what comes naturally to him and hump what ever walks.

Maybe you should introduce your dog to some of the female K-9 in the neighborhood.

If your dog keeps coming back to your cat then your cat is offering something your dog really likes.

As stated in my first post, they are both males. There will be no breeding.

Not as bad as my mother's chihuahua (female, and 6 lbs) mounting her cat (male, neutered, and about 11 lbs.)
