I have a weakness for each Armalite, Leuepold, and CAV--
That is about Firearms Perfection IMO...

Nice dude.

Considering that I have couple of accessories on this rifle, and a heavy SS barrel,  it is surprisingly light (nice).

Someday I might send it off to get the barrel fluted...

I've always had a weakness for those One-piece lower/buttstocks.  Excellent gun, Gene.  You'll not find a more accurate carbine than the one you now own.

What's the deal with the rivets(?) in the rear stock?

What's the barrel lenght?

Looks like a smokin' gun! What you gonna use it for? Target, varmint, or?

I just ordered a 24" SS M15A4T upper from Armalite. I am going to put it on my bushmaster lower. I have a but stock weight in it and a frank white 2 stage trigger in it also. Just waiting to pop the upper on and I will do a leupold 6.5x20 40mm. Looking forward to it. Armalite told me 60 day back order. Gives me some time to get some cash together. I have another lower with a frank white 2 stage trigger and I don't know what to make a carbine or DCM. That is going to take some thought.

NO-AR-:(,

Actually, the "rivets" (actually screws) are what Cav-Arms uses to keep their (2-piece) lowers/handgrip/butt-stock together.  They are also sonic-welded together for burliness.

It's a 16" SS barrel that I will primarily be using for target shooting.

Thanks for the nice comments fellas! [sniper]

At the Granite Falls WA shoot this past Saturday, I was shooting next to GeneStoner.

The gun looks better in person than the pics show. The muzzle blast is a might intense as I kept having to adjust my glasses, hat, and underwear whenever Gene fired one off.[:D]
