A few of us went on a hunting trip near Thunder Bay. When we got near Nickel, you could see the giant nickel set on top of the mountain. The nickel mine looked horrible. Strip mining is one thing that is thankfully stopped for most parts.
Lake Nippising is really nice also. |

Ya' know - Ontario is a pretty sizable province. Unless your mom will be travelling around at will like a tourist, then perhaps if you knew where in Ontario she was going, that might help.

Ontario is a great place, tons of lakes and good fishing and sites to see! Try Toronto, the CN tower or Niagra falls.....or some of the other falls in the lower mainland. The Rideau Canal is beautiful...and if she goes in the Summer, get her to check out the Thousand Islands. So much of Ontario is so different from one end of it from the other....where she was headed exactly would be a help....* wink* |

The CN tower in Toronto is awesome. Tallest space needle in the world ,makes the one in Seattle look short.
There is a really beautiful garden up there. Other than that,we usually visit my wife's relatives so our time is spent with them. Niagra Falls is pretty cool looking . Thats about it. |
