The time is finally here, to go get my Prostate removed. I'm hopeful this gets all the cancer out at once.
Thank You to all of you who have said/will say a prayer for me.

On Tuesday (10-19-04) I fly to Detroit, and Friday (10-22) they'll remove my Prostate. Then I fly back on Monday (10-25).

I'll get back on here ASAP, but not sure how recovery will go.

I'll see ya then........................

EDIT---I'm signing off because I'm going to spend more time with my wife and son before I go. The boy is 9, and getting scared about me going away for week to have surgery done.

brother had it done when he was 42 - he's 53 now and doing fine.

hang in there and do what the Doc says - we're prayng for you and your family as well both physically and emotionally.

I know 2 people that have had it done... actually within 3 months of each other... both are doing great. You picked the best method... Remove it. That way you KNOW its out and no messin around with guesswork. Prayers to you and hope all goes well.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT GUYS: Doctor told me that if ALL men were to live to 110, chances of getting prostate cancer is 100%. Get your PSA tests done... ESPECIALLY after 40. its a simple blood test and it can save your life!
