Just checked my work email, and I have an email from my completely insane, anxiety ridden workaholic boss that details next weeks plans, starting on Monday (we have off).
Should I tell her, or let her figure it out on her own when Monday rolls around.? |

I work for the feds and have been reminding myself that I have Monday off all week. I still think I'll wake up and go to work. Who celebrates MLK day?
|
|
The only reason I knew was because there was a notice on the PO's door yesterday about it.

I work at a hospital, what are these "holidays" you speak of?

My place of employment is closed but somebody has to watch the place.
So I get 12 hours of holiday pay + 3rd shift differential. Before hand, I'll sit in quiet contemplation at the Underground Railroad Museum for a few hours. |

I meant to say that I'll probably forget it is a holiday, drive in to work, realize that nobody is there, and then drive home. |

One of my guys called me and asked if we were off...
I said we just had Xmas, and easter is still a ways off... Did I miss a holiday? Hahahahahahaha.... He didn't laugh as hard as I did. |

She's a grown woman, and in charge of other people, the least she could do is consult her calender on occasion. I say her find out on her own, maybe she'll wake up and start paying attention. |

Still... good luck with her. I wonder if she'll notice it when no one else is at work when she shows up.... |

In Virginia to day is Lee-Jackson day and Monday is MLK. So 4 day weekend for most state employees.

If your boss says you're working, I would think you should go to work...
