Yeah, but M-16 bullets tumble in the air because the M-16 is a smoothbore rifle, they made them like that because it causes more damage. |
Don't forget they take the same mags too. Oh and IBTL! |
I thought that only worked on my AK |

They told us the tumble deal in basic. I think they got it mixed up with what the round does if it hits bone after it enters your body. It will tumble and boogie up your leg or out your nose. |
this is true, they can even do it to old enfields if they happen to pick one off of dead enemy |

Thanks a lot, you just blew his cover..... |

My best friend, a Navy SEAL, told me about SEAL throwing knife training. They are taught to be effective with them at up to 90 yards.

He taught me how to snap YOUR neck like a "DRY TWIG".
I COULD show you, but then I'd have to, well...you know. |
That must make you a... ZOMBIE!! |

Those are a little more complicated, you also have to file off the bolt handle and put a couple springs in to turn and close the bolt. |

This website is hilarious. Now, were they smart enough to buy the .org and .net websites? Heck no they weren't that smart. |

i have a friend who is a SEAL, i often taunt him with my "SEAL impression" which generally consists of runnning backward while pretending to empty mags from the hip and shouting "BREAK CONTACT, BREAK CONTACT". its great fun at parties. for addedd effect unblouse your boots and and put on your m-frames. extra credit for a mustache.

I recently had a friendly acquaintance tell me that HIS older friend who was in Vietnam said, "When shooting a gun, your hearing won't be damaged if you open your mouth. It helps equalize the pressure in your head."
A seal at a gunshow told me that they can "smell it" at 100+ yards and know how to slap that charging handle home!
I'm waiting for a Texas Ranger investigation to take Chuck Norris into a SEAL bar, so that he can finally be the one to mess their hair up and break some Oakleys.

I know two.
I earned a Black Belt under one, Vietnam era. Most of his buddies died violently and he was still suffering from nightmares 20 years later (when I knew him) all info from his wife. He NEVER talked about it. I think Instructing Martial Arts was his salvation and penance. Wise old man now. I know one other four years younger than myself (51) long retired. Burned out knees. He was in around 1980. Rumored to have been in the Grenada mess. He was in a demo type jump team after that, refused to talk about anything and/or be photographed when he was still in, or after for that matter. Started a small business with a nice woman. I knew him as a crazy MF'r during as a young man. He was born with a Seal body, small and lean, NO fat. Not gonna find out much from real Seals. Fortunately never met the bragging fakes. Just my .02 |

You too!!!!!!!!!!!! |
