Ruger .357, box of .357 shells, Flash light, Pocket knife, Fire starter. Spare batteries.

Holster, larger knife, fire starting cubes, cleaning kit,  Water proof matches, 550 para cord, .38 special shells

Enclosed in a waterproof box.  I still need to add a small bag to carry the items that i cant wear on my belt or in my pocket.

The case is i believe a Pelican case or some other maker ( i couldn't find a name on it ).   The Knives are cheap...but at this time thats about all i can afford to put in there,  Its a kit in the works.

I like it, and will be shamelessly plagiarizing your idea

I used M1 carbine magazine pouch to carry HKS speedloaders for a security six. Its been awhile, but I think I could carry 4 loaded speedloders.

I see you plan to blow zombies up. 6 grenades may not be enough.

Grenades?  That's an IED.

WTF are "shells"
Shotguns use shells. Pistols, revolvers and rifles use ammo or rounds of ammo.

I like it. My kit has a S&W 65-2, Cold Steel  Recon Tanto fixed blade and a CRKT Crawford Triumph folder.
I need a cool waterproof case like you have. Who makes it?
I'm hoping to upgrade to a Strider folder and fixed blade sometime soon. Great kit.

I have the same setup in my truck in a Pelican case, except my knife is a Gerber MK I and my holster is a Bianchi pancake holster, along with a Surefire G2.

well you'll be ready for the martian tripods

that's actually a pretty nice kit

S&W or someone needs to that again but with a sensible revolver instead of the 500/460 gun kits they made

That Security Six is a great revolver. I've had a few of them.

I'm going to do the same thing but with my Glock 29.  I can use it as a gun and if I'm completely overwhelmed and going to die anyway, a suitcase nuke.

This.

I've been thinking more and more about a kit like yours, OP.  Details would be much appreciated.

You need a couple speed loaders, or speed strips or something.  Carrying loose ammo in your pocket sucks if you're in a hurry.

Cool.

I'd get a better knife, though. After sharpening one just like it for a buddy, I used it to chop up fish. I can't say I was too impressed with it's edge holding ability.

ETA: The Winchester knife.

You can fill that box with para cord and it wouldn't be enough.
