Having 200 pounds of ammo delivered on Thursday. I love Aim, cheap really IS tactical.

ETA: A few days late, but here we go. One of the cans of 7.62x54R is out in my truck, didn't feel like bringing it in just for the pic. Also picked up four more cans of 5.45x39mm locally on Saturday.

Eh, not quite. I'll let everyone know when I order a pallet of ammo in one go, though.

I had a rather large amount of ammo dropped off at home when I was overseas (wanted it there for when I got back).  The UPS driver was not half as pissed as my wife was, she had to open the larger case boxes and carry the smaller 20 round boxes in a few boxes at a time. LOL

Same here.

I started having it shipped to my Dad's house; he's retired so he can ambush the UPS guy/girl and him him/her carry it all the way in!

Nice! I got to see true hate in its purest form when my FedEx guy had to deliver 880lbs of .30-06 from the CMP one crate at a time.

Him: So, when is it?

Me: When is what?

Him: The end of the world!

I've never had another order even come close to that one though...

I do dream of the day that I can order a pallet of 5.45 but that will likely never happen.

I wonder how many crates would constitute a pallet...

I seem to recall that 32 crates of 5.45 was the number given to me by Bryan when I asked about it. That would change of course if you added something other than 5.45 on there.

ahhh to have 69,000 rounds in one delivery...I can dream.

I can see it now-

"UPS man alerts authorities to local man..."

"Ammo cache...."

"Assult weapons..."

J/K, I'm just jealous.

I was almost floored last night.  I went to AIM and saw XM193 for $6/box.  I had to refresh the page cause I didn't believe it.

No worries. Mine is so cool about it that he txt msg's me when I've got ammo coming and meets me in the parking lot to load it directly into my truck.

A few years back I ordered 10 cases of surplus 308 (11,200 rounds) from Sportsman's Gude.

They repacked it into smaller boxes containing 560 rounds per box (about 30 lbs a box).

My regular UPS driver was off the day it was delivered and his relief driver was a little guy who couldn't have gone more than ~ 5'4" and 130 lbs.  Because the boxes were flimsy, they would fall off the handtruck if stacked; the driver carried them one at a time across my yard to my back deck; it was about 95 degrees out with 99% humidity that day.

he was not happy.

I'm sure he was even less happy back at the depot; my regular driver told me everyone was laughing at the guy beciause he complained about having to make that delivery.

I ordered four cases of Yugo 7.62x39 when TGI had a sale last year. The UPS chick came and knocked on the door and asked for help. She could not get them off the truck and up to the porch, my son had to do it. 5040rds

/mostly kidding, but my 'opsec' is blown. I bought too much stuff too close together.
