I was looking for watches using a Miyota 9015, and came across the Android Skyguardian 9015.

I hunted for the best price after reading so many positive reviews, and was about to order one on Amazon for $125, half of what they sell for elsewhere, when I decided to check the manufacturer's page to be absolutely sure it had the movement I wanted.

Come to find out, the manufacturer was running a 48 hour sale on them, $90 apiece or 3 for $240 with a leather padded box.

Here is the link to what I got on sale: Set of 3 Skyguardian 9015

Amazon still had a few left for $125 apiece last time I looked.

The movement is 24 jewel, 28,800 VPM.  It is an automatic that can also be hand wound, and according to the manual runs for 36 hours on a full wind if let to sit.  This is my first watch with a hyperactive movement, and it is amazingly smooth.  I know it's no 36000, but it's impressive to me.

Without further ado, here are the pics, starting with my Seiko 5 for size comparison, new watches hadn't been wound and set yet.

Now for the slightly better quality pics:

Thanks for looking!

That's a great deal!

But now you done it, you bought direct from Android! They will now send you an email everyday with their Deal Of The Day and every sale item. That's how I ended up with so many Android watches.

I like the extra styling of your Skyguardians, I have the T-100 Tritium version but the case is a bit plain.

I'm wondering if your case is as thick as this one, I suspect it is extra thick because a longer stem is needed to accommodate the thicker tritium hands. I do wish it wasn't so thick...and heavy.

But I do like the tritium and lume.

My watch measures 0.595 from back to face, and is 2.222 inches measured across the lugs at the widest point.

I like that T100, is it much bigger than this?

Mine is 16mm thick, or about 5/8".

Here's mine;

But they have a "one of a kind" with a printing flaw, it's missing the A in Android on the face for $130 less.

How you doing with those sale emails from Android?

I came close to buying one of their quartz watches from the email earlier, but I am forcing myself to stick to automatics only!

I see several more Androids in my future.
