I've been wanting to see Drive By Truckers in concert for a long time.
Can't believe they came to the town I live in. They sound great live. My ears have rang all day today!!! I'm gettin old. |

I rocked my ears plenty when I was younger.
Now, since I work around amplified music all the time, I wear ear-pro and treat it like the deafening occupational hazard it is. I wish I had the sense to have done that in the 70's and 80's. More than 100db is basically a criminal act in an amphitheatre and I've seen it much higher on a meter at the board. |

DBT are so much better of a live band than recorded... Wish Isbell still played with them, he is a serious talent.

I'd love to see them sometime. Their "Alabama Ass Whuppin'" is one of my favorite live albums.
