Not surprised, Brits are famous for forgetting their Verizon passwords...

Does that match what your family members believe? Any fake indians in the family going to be pissed off?

Tell your older family members that the results came back that you are 52% Sub-Saharan African and 13% Polynesian.

AncestryDNA was $99 well spent! Mine came back as expected with the exception of around 8% Great Britain. My maternal grandmother was born with the same surname as a VERY famous British rock star. In the unlikely case that we are actually related, I certainly didn't inherit any of his musical talent.
I had traces of DNA from the following: Scandinavia Finland/Russia Iberian Peninsula Italy/Greece Polynesia Middle-East North Africa I wonder if some of this came from my maternal great-great grandfather. He has English roots but I recently found a photo of him and he looks more Indian (dot) than N. European. Dark skin/hair/eyes appear in a small percentage of people in that line of descent. |

My Ancestry.com report says I'm 100% European:
Africa = 0 Native American = 0 Asia = 0 Pacific Islander = 0 West Asia = 0 Europe = 100% -- split among Great Britain (42%), West Europe (32%), Ireland (12%), Iberian Peninsula (7%), Finland (3%), Greece/Italy (2%), Scandinavia (2%). This matches the genealogy studies that my brother has conducted back through quite a few generations. (Interesting stuff -- great- great uncle commanded a Confederate cavalry unit in the civil war. My mother's family is directly descended from Irish royalty). Based on the Scandinavian & Finland results, I was claiming status as a Viking warrior long before the current radio/TV ads being aired by "23 & me." |

ohhh.... sorry about the Irish bit.
Just 9% is enough to be 100% jobless |

My test came back 80% Great Britain. I have more Great Britain in my genes than the average person native to Great Britain today, according to ancestry.com. I guess that explains my mouth full of crooked teeth.

My family originated from Wales... so I guess I come from a long line of sheep fuckers

Looks almost exactly like my GF's results.
Her sister still insists they're like half Indian, though. |

I'm half kraut (allegedly all kraut on that half) and half Mexican. From what my Mexican side's family history says I'm a mutt of all different kinds of European and some weird non-Aztec or Mayan indian tribe. I'm interested to see what I actually am.

It's all fun and games until you go all jihad on us. Go back to where you came from, goatfucker!

I'm 5 percent European Jewish
Enough to claim Israel citizenship? |

How about just being an American? View Quote If you have friends and you compare results, it opens up a whole new stable of racial epithets you can use. For instance, I can also go by Kigger. This has been added to the list of slurs that my friends can call me. This is because I learned I had some jewish blood, to go along with the obvious other epithet that it is combined with. |

It's called "ancestry". Yeah cause it was so awesome they left and came here. That tells me everything I need to know. Some people give a fuck about where their ancestors came from. Some people are interested in confirming or debunking family oral history on their ancestry, or documenting their family history. Some people may be interested in knowing that they could be genetically predisposed for certain diseases based on their ancestry. Some people might be interested in knowing if they could have a sever or fatal reaction to certain medications because of their ancestry. Some people have no family at all and know nothing about where they came from and ancestry testing can inform them. |

The real fun is when you download the RAW data and use other services to find all the real good info that the faggots at the FDA prevents 23andMe from sharing. Tons of great info. Also, if you convert it to .mat (it's just a CSV file) it give you the power to parse through and look up your own DNA info. Simply do a strmatch for the SNP - it will align with the rsid, chromosome, position and genotype. Instantly look up if something is pertinent to you or not. |

Goto https://snpedia.com/ great resource for finding all sorts of neat crap to look up in your own Genome. If you're comfortable with a auto-parsing service... https://www.snpedia.com/index.php/Promethease I highly recommend. It's a damn near full genetic workup, looking at tens of thousands of known genetic markers/conditions. 5 bucks and uses your raw genetic data from 23andMe. Best 5 bucks you'll ever spend... It actually ended up saving my life. |

Before the ancient Romans conquered the British Isles, they were visited by Greek and Phoenician sailors and traders.
One of those sailors could have fucked an Arabian goat, and then sold it to a Briton. That's probably where your 1% came from. |

I got my dad to do it last week. Being 87, he was a little bit confused at first and wanted to know why one would do this kind of test. When I told him that they would use the results to build a Viking clone army to take over the world he was OK with it.
