I got a reply from a post I made to her column. A man responded to it. Here it goes with another reply by me.
Mr. Woliver,
There's the problem right there. You stated what
happens when troubled kids get a hold of guns. How
about we start with the TROUBLED KIDS? Or is there no
effort to curb the problem where is starts? I have to
ask... what kind of name calling was there in my
email? Please look at it again.
Amy was convicted and sentenced for a violent felony.
She gave up many rights as soon as she made the
decisions she made. One of which was to legally own a
gun. Now she wants to take away my rights to own them
even though I've been nothing but a respectable law
abidding citizen? I think you should rethink your
hiring process but that's just my opinion.
As for the facts regarding her particular case...
everything I've seen says that she was shot in the
head. If you'd like to somehow separate the face from
the head that's fine by me. Doesn't somehow make
things right be me though.
Respectfully,
G
