WTF?? $220,000!??

I think the guy smoked a little to much wacky tabacky before posting that auction!

And probably a nut just as big as Gilmore will buy it.

Does that come with any ammo?

I'm also wondering how this guy came into possession of "Murder weapon." Isn't this stuff locked away in an evidence locker for life? John

Like who freaking cares... Do you get a certificate of authenticity too? What a goon to think someone would care enough about a no-name killer to buy a $200k Buckmark .22 pistol. I bet someone found this old .22 in their closet and devised this scheme to get a little more out of it than it's worth. [:)] "Hey Bubba! Let's tell them internet folks that this pistol belonged to some killer and sell it for $200k". Wow... Now, if it was Ted Bundy's shovel I might be interested at that price. [:)]

I'm tempted to bid like $450,000 for it and really get him excited! What a buffoon.

Not exactly…when a case is over and all the appeals have been used and / or the guy is put to death or whatever…Just when everything is DONE! The court will release evidence to be destroyed or whatever. Some Law Enforcement agencies will take the firearms that they have confiscated and sell them to dealers or what have you. medcop

I saw a rifle on their once with the evidence stickers still on it. The idiot didn't even remove them before selling it. In some areas you can still buy at auction some seized firearms, etc...Many Anti-GUnners though are pushing to destroy the guns rather than making a profit by placing a crime gun in honest hands.

Uh, my Shotgun was used by um...let's say The Columbine Killers. I'll let it go for a mere $1 Million ? [rolleyes]

Remember its man who kills , the item he uses is only a tool ; whether it be a gun , baseball bat or frying pan .

This is not the first time this guy has tried selling this gun. I take a gander at the "Big Ticket Items" every now and them for things I will never buy, and the Gilmore guns is almost always there. It tends to stick out with that price tag.

$220000 dollars? I haven't seen that many zeros lined up since Mr. Spock had a book signing.
