Took the Tunic out today for another round of testing.

Location is Austin, Texas

Greenbelt near 360 and MoPac.

I did get some strange looks from the Hippy Joggers/bikers but hey, to each his own...

Me & teh Tunic

Another pose

Where did I go?

Uhmm

Next to a tree...

This stuff works.  Best thing to happen to camo in the last 20 years...

Was that somewhere near Zilker Park?

Austin was/is my second home town. My mom is from there and I spent a lot of time there when I was younger. Even got to have a beer at Armadillo World HQ before they tore it down.

Do me a favor and go eat a big plate of cheese enchiladas at Chuy's for me.

BTW, that camo looks like just the right thing for Central TX. Gonna have to get some
one day.

Long live Texas,

Flyer

Nice pics.  I have a multicam set (jacket, pants, and boonie cover). Where did you get the tunic.  I saw one on militarymorons a while ago, but never got one.  Where did you get yours?

You should try making a Waffen SS pullover smock to help break up your outline.  Camo works, ok, I guess, I'm partially colorblind and found you right away.  Your silhouette sticks out, man!

Packrat Toyz sells the smocks, so you can probably get a good idea of what they're like. Try reenactor websites.
