Now that everything is published, we'll be available for detailed questions.
Some we may have to punt (or hold answering until the debrief video) until the uppers are back at Faxon and I can take a detailed look inside, but rest assured, we're an open book! Thank you to MrGunsNGear for the test! |

Nitriding seems really awesome, especially because my understanding is it can be applied to a match barrel and not lose accuracy.

I like Mike's channel and Faxon a lot but I'll just go ahead and say it. Those guns were malfing...a LOT. They were obviously running way too fast.
What gives? The Colt M4 test was with higher pressure ammo and had none of the problems both of the rifles in this test had. |

Life beyond GD *and also it proves Faxon barrels nothing else. And with a sample of ONE doesn't PROVE that much. |

I love nitride barrels and BCGs and my next build will use a 14.5 Faxon Gunner barrel as its foundation.
BTW, this was a great test through and through. Probably jumped into my Top 5 Youtube gun-related videos. Awesome job, everyone involved. |

Life beyond GD? Such s thing does not exsist.
Anyway, I really don't see the malfunctions meaning much, both barrels went through hell and took much more abuse than they would ever take from any normal use, even normal playing around burning ammo. |
