Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Movie Edit...fixing a movie file

I have 2 *.wmv movies that will not allow me to advance or rewind.  Both are about standard length 1.5 to 2 hours.

Anyone know how to fix this? I was thinking if I could change the format to RMV or something it might fix it automatically.  Any one know how to do that or have some other idea?

try editing them in windows movie maker or virtualdub

The easiest way is to not use WMP and run the movie in another program like Final Cut Pro, or the Adobe one. You can download the adobe for free to try it if you don't have it.
